The name is Felix Baumgartner and his fans call him Fearless Felix.  He is considered the God of Skies. He deserves to be called so. In his career, he has attempted many dangerous sky diving stunts. He has jumped from almost all the tallest buildings in the world.

His next move is to set the world record by jumping from the height of 23 miles.  It is considered to be the impossible jump for many reasons.  There are many health hazards involved in this jump. No one has attempted such a jump before and it is considered extremely dangerous to do so.  If he is going to jump, he will face the -72c temperature and speed more than of sound.  His body is going experience the many laws of aero-dynamics and physics. His free fall will break the speed of sound barrier as well.

Red bull Stratos have sponsored his mission. During the mission, at least four new world records will be set.  Red Bull has team of scientists planning and designing the complete mission. Joseph Kittinger is assisting the teams there. He holds the previous world record of highest jump ever attempted.

There was a news on TV, sometime before that he is going to attempt the jump somtime in next few months in 2010.  There is no official words on Felix Baumgartner mission dates.  Felix Baumgartner jump date may be announced soon. The official site of both Felix Baumgartner and Red Bull Stratos have no details on the final date.
