Ken Blackwell is back in the news with his book titled The Blueprint: Obama’s Plan to Subvert the Constitution and Build an Imperial Presidency. Apart from being author, he is Vice Chairman of the Republican National Committee and is political per opinion. According to the Ken Blackwell wiki page, he is well matured politician who knows the ways to corridors of the power and politics.

Why is he in news this time? One reason is, he has a book to sell and sell it to several people so that publisher can cover the cost of publishing material. There are lot many guys who need to be paid and publisher and author know well that they have to sell the books to have money.

What is other reason, He made a TV appearance recently and as I read on many boards, he has style to charm the people.  Ken Blackwell is known for his successful campaign for the 2004 Ohio Constitution Amendment.  Now coming back to his book. The synopsis of book at Amazon, does not point to anything surprising. His book looks like any other book which has more over the theories than the facts.  There are several point of views to look at single event. Ken Blackwell and other writers with credible past, use the scattered events and facts to weave a convincing story.  We have seen such books during the George Bush time as well.  None of those books stood the tough test of time and not many are sold for more than few copies at stands.

A publisher of such books knows that such books do have a period when the sale can occur and they need some surprise elements. Who cares even if those are twisted.
