Polish President Lech Kaczynski dies in Plane Crash which occurred in Russian town of Smolensk. Poor visibility led to crash with the trees and it is being reported that around 97 persons died in the crash.

The plane involved in the crash is a Tupolev Tu-154 or Tu-154. It is reported that the plane was 20 years old and in excellent condition. Plane was owned by Poland’s Air-force.

World is paying tribute to Polish President.  Polish PM is expected to visit crash site soon. The investigations are going on. The Russian investigators have found black box. More details to emerge on the exact cause of the crash.
