Those who have watched documentary Inside man 2010 by Sony Classics, will certainly agree that it is less expensive to bail-out the flagship brands then offering stimulus packages to banks.  Banks abused stimulus packages, there were stories where bank executives were paid hefty bonuses on the expense of tax-payers.  If such institutions can be given free-for all money why not the popular consumer brands which are on the verge of collapsing.

The well known brands must be preserved and should be kept going on.  According to the news Twinkie’s company Hostess has filled for closing its operations.  It would support its operations for few more days.  So, Twinkie rules the market for now.

Where to for having Twinkie after Hostess closes its operations?  The answer is, you must head to Canada where Saputo will continue to make these fine products and will sell them especially in Montreal.

Government has instruments which could be used for bailing out small-scale industries.  These small companies need stimulus packages. Twinkie deserves to be among the public and must be available. It has been long since 1930, people have been eating this wonderful product and are emotionally attached with it.

If Hostess was not able to keep it up with changing times, it could sell its operations. Lot of people work in the factories and outlets. According to news sources,  A Mexican Food company named Bimbo may come back with Twinkies in future.  So, there is still hope.  So, it is not end of the road for Twinkies yet.
