Geneva Auto Show 2010

Geneva Auto Show 2010 has begun from March 4th. Geneva Auto Show 2010 dates are from 4th March to 14th March.

All big companies are presenting their best cars for the next years. It is easy to understand the trends for next few years. Here are some highlights of the show so far as just two days have gone.

Ferrari presented HY-KERS vettura
Ashton Martin displayed its Aston Martin Cygnet Concept car.
Mini Countryman show cased on second day of the show.

There are many more new cars to come to this show. Each day is different at this auto show. The best modes of the cars along with best models standing besides. You can think of it as a best place to see the technology being advanced by leaps and bounds.

Companies are working hard to lure the customers to their fold. As the show goes on, several companies are recalling their cars from the market. Toyota admitted the lower quality for the sake of volume to be sold in the market.

More new announcements are to be made. This year auto makers are focusing on green cars which are fuel efficient with lower emissions. You can visit the show this year. It draws the people from all over the world.

Tata Nano Electric Car

Tata Motors India, unveiled the electric version of its low cost car. Tata Nano Electric car has been displayed in Geneva Auto Show 2010. The new car will make its customers to spend less on fuel. The green Tata Nano Electric car is supposed to take market by storm. The car is the cheapest one available in the market.

However, the electric version may take 3 years to come to market. Its first draft is ready and as it happens always that companies come to auto show to showcase their future cars. Some of the concept cars are just made to show. The concept cars do have market but it is limited because no company wants to invest in to the shaky markets.

Tata Nano general version expected to arrive in Europe this year. Many customers want to buy this car because of its lowest cost.

However, Tata Nano’s production is still limited and company had several new plants to open this year. The car and auto industry looks at this car because it is near impossible project if we go by the cost to manufacture a car.

There are many car makers who are experimenting to bring the new and more cheaper cars in the market. Three year is long time and if a new cheaper car comes in the market. The market can be overhauled for good. Tata Nano Electric Car will take 3 years to release according to the company officials.
