Domestic Travel in US
It will increase by close to 30% or so. Economic conditions are improving. More families will opt for in-land travel.
International Travel for US travelers
Expected growth is more than 20%. More american travelers will go international destinations as companies are looking good and many of those companies have lifted the cap on international travel. Holiday Makers from US, will choose islands or European destinations over the normal routine places in the world.
UK Domestic Travel
European economy is considered to be tough. The domestic travelers are expected to grow by 10% or so. Because 2009 was not bad for UK travel industry. Over the figures of last year 10% growth sounds logical.
International Travel from UK
Many countries have still travel advisories issues to international travelers. Travelers from UK are expected to choose Australia as their first choice to spend holidays. There are many reasons behind this trend. Expected increase around 25%.
Asian Destinations
Asian destinations are going to see decrease of 10-15 for the travelers coming from UK and US. Asian places are considered to have some risk factors with them. Earlier places like Sri-Lanka and other small islands were favorite for many but now the situation has change due to warnings.
Destinations in Europe
European destinations have been in demand for many years and this year will be exciting for the tour operators in UK. Many families, corporate clients, holiday makers and other people are going to demand quality services.
